The Ride of Your Life
The Dupraz isn't a true racing product. But, I couldn't help myself. I like this snowboard so much, I feel compelled to spread the word and offer it to Apex customers. It's an absolute blast to ride and unlike other powder-specific shapes, you don't feel like a Fish out of water when you hit the groom. I ride my Dupraz with hard boots or soft and in all conditions.
Henry Kim, President, Apex Sport
Snowboard pioneer Serge Dupraz had a crazy and ambitious idea: being able to ride all snow conditions with a high level of performance, regardless of the rider's style and ability, and all this with only one board.
The unique Dupraz shape allows anybody who tries it to immediately have fun and feel the new sensations given by this specific shape. Park rats will be surprised by its air potential as well as other performance: pop, landing stability, grip on hard snow, forgiveness, not to mention its tremendous abilities in fresh snow conditions.
The Dupraz is equally at home in powder or on cordoroy. Soft or hard boots. Race style, freeride or Eurocarving. Ludo Strohl even won the Legendary Mount Baker Banked Slalom in 2009 on a Dupraz. The Dupraz is truly a one-board quiver.
These snowboards are very hard to find in North America. We have acquired a small inventory of 2010/11 models.
